If you’re pro-life, pro-parent, or simply wish to speak freely about your faith and convictions, you’re now told your values are the real threat-and increasingly, you’re being targeted with laws and policies meant to silence, punish, or sideline you entirely.
Consider the national fight over Planned Parenthood. At the federal level, we’ve seen Republicans, including Senator Josh Hawley, fighting to extend the ban on Medicaid dollars for abortion providers like Planned Parenthood beyond its July 2026 expiration, a move supported by leading pro-life groups who recognize what’s at stake for the unborn (source). Yet in deep-blue states such as Maryland, lawmakers have doubled down, not only protecting abortion access in their constitution but authorizing nurse practitioners and midwives to perform abortions, and mandating both public and private insurance cover abortion services (source). The machinery of progressive control is well-oiled: policy, law, media, and academia all reinforcing the message that dissent on life, family, and faith is not just backward, but dangerous. Meanwhile, pro-life activists and parents fighting for their children’s innocence are cast as the real threat. Laws criminalize disagreement; agencies ignore real risks if they don’t suit the narrative; the media cries foul when their preferred spokespeople lose lucrative platforms but cheers when parents and faith leaders are pushed out of public life.
This is why vigilance matters now more than ever. Defending the unborn is not just about a single law-it’s about refusing to let a radical worldview define who is allowed to speak, assemble, or parent their children in the light of faith and truth. Parents must reclaim their rightful authority, demand transparency in curriculum and healthcare, and insist that the First Amendment protects unpopular views, not just those in vogue with the elite. We can expect growing attempts at intimidation, censorship, and financial punishment. But our calling is unchanged: Speak the truth in love, stand firm, and do not let cultural bullies rewrite what it means to be a parent, a believer, or an American.
